The TaylorMade Spider ZT Zero Torque putter is a new-generation mallet whose Zero Torque technology keeps face twist to a minimum through the stroke. The effect shows up in the contact: more consistent, and a ball that starts straighter.
The head combines high-density stainless steel with light aluminium, which pushes the moment of inertia very high and makes the putter forgiving on slightly off-centre strikes. The milled True Path alignment helps centre the putt, while the Pure Roll insert with grooves angled at 45 degrees gets the ball rolling sooner.
Key features:
- Zero Torque: shaft drilled towards the centre of gravity, limiting face rotation at impact.
- Multi-material construction: stainless steel and aluminium, for a high MOI.
- Milled True Path alignment: ball-width lines for precise aiming.
- Pure Roll insert: surlyn and aluminium, 45-degree grooves for a consistent roll.
- Face-balanced: the face stays square longer through the stroke.
- Specifications: 2.5° loft, 70° lie, head weight around 370 g, lengths 33, 34 and 35 inches.
- Build: KBS CT Putter 120 Stepless Black shaft and SuperStroke Pistol 1.0 grip.
The Spider ZT suits players of all levels looking for a stable, forgiving mallet with a fairly straight stroke.
