- XL MAINFRAME FACE: Using a multi-step AI calculation process, we simulated thousands of the most common clubface strikes, focused on impact points and evaluated performance characteristics. Then, based on our findings, we created a variable-thickness face that widens and reshapes the sweet spot for better energy transfer across the face, delivering powerful ball speed and distance no matter where you make contact.
- XL HEAD DESIGN: We reworked the XL head design and weighting configuration to deliver even more forgiveness and consistency. Weight was also reduced by using an extremely thin crown supported by a strong, lightweight frame. With these savings, MainFrame’s AI-driven simulations allowed us to place more discretionary mass low and deep in the clubhead, optimizing the driver’s CG for a long, powerful ball flight.
- REBOUND FRAME: Here’s what sets Launcher XL 2 apart from other drivers: its unique ability to flex twice. Like a spring within a spring, Rebound Frame technology adds a second ring of flex just behind the face, supported by additional stiffness at the back of the clubhead. At impact, these two flex zones activate simultaneously, increasing the amount of energy transferred into the ball for increased ball speed and distance.
- ACTION MASS CB: Action Mass CB places an 8-gram counterweight at the end of the shaft, near the top of the grip. The added weight in your hands makes the club feel lighter, promoting a more stable and controlled backswing. It also promotes a more inside swing path, a squarer clubface at impact and, ultimately, straighter shots.
